No. 13 SMU Men’s Basketball Achieves High Academic All-GNAC Marks

PORTLAND, Oreg. – The No. 13 ranked Saint Martin's men's basketball team has done a lot of winning on the court this season, to the tune of a 19-3 overall record. But it was their work in the classroom that achieved them recognition this week, when the Academic All-Conference awards were announced. The Saints named five players to the All-Academic team, including Marcus Lenker (only the fifth ever four-time honoree in conference men's basketball history), Cory Schramm (who led the conference with a 4.0 GPA), Tyke Thompson, Kyle Greeley, and Nathaniel Stokes. It is the fifth straight year SMU has named five to the honor, and nobody in the conference had more selections.
