CANYON, Texas — West Texas A&M's Larry Wise poured in a season-high 32 points and the No. 1-ranked Buffs won their 17th-consecutive game, beating Midwestern State 89-62 Saturday afternoon at First United Bank Center.

WT improved to 20-1 while staying perfect in Lone Star Conference play at 14-0.
