NNMC Men's Basketball Hosts Signing Day Event with New Recruits

On March 4th, the NNMC Men's Basketball hosted a Signing Event at the Espanola Campus for its new recruits with the presence of NNMC's Board of Regents president Michael Martin, NNMC president Hector Balderas, and other special guests. Signing for the Eagles were: Koak Kok, a 6-foot-7-inch forward out of South Sudan; Ashley Kitchen, a 6-6 guard out of Northampton, England; Dimitri Clerc, a 6-10 center out of Switzerland; Manny Gatkek, a 6-8 forward from Amarillo, Tx. and a former Division I player at Sam Houston State; and Tavaun Smith, from Farmington (NM) who most recently was part of the Albuquerque Basketball Club program. The new recruits not only participated in the signing day but had meetings with Northern's administration about the admissions process and received a tour of the campus the days that anticipated the event.
