NJCU Rings in Record-Tying 54 Academic All-NJAC Honorees for Second Straight Year

PITMAN, N.J. — For the second consecutive academic year, the New Jersey City University department of athletics landed a program-record-tying 54 student-athletes on the 2022-23 Academic All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Team. Leading the way this year for the Gothic Knights were the two First Team selections, sophomore Sara Zorzan (Milan, Italy/Liceo Falcone Borsellino) of women's tennis and senior Nico Teynie (Rouen, France/Lycée Val de Seine) of men's tennis. On the Second Team were senior Eliza Clamor (Auckland, New Zealand/Rangitoto College) of women's tennis and junior Topu Saha (Jersey City, N.J./William L. Dickinson) of men's cross country/track & field.
