Niners Set for Primetime First-Place Battle at South Florida on ESPN2

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Halton Arena will be a can't-miss moment Saturday afternoon when Charlotte Men's Basketball (13-7, 7-1 AAC) hosts conference opponent and in-state foe East Carolina (11-11, 4-5) in front of an expected sellout crowd on national television at 2 p.m., February 3. The Niners, currently first in the American Athletic Conference, are looking to make history as the first Charlotte team to win eight straight conference games in a season. A sellout crowd is predicted and it would be the first at Halton Arena since February 2, 2013 and the game will also be televised on ESPNU, making it the first nationally televised game this season inside Halton Arena.
