NGU Falls to Wingate On Opening Day of Southeast Regional

Tigerville, SC – The North Greenville Crusaders fell to the Wingate Bulldogs by a final score of 6-4 this afternoon at Ray & Bea Dillard Field. Wingate spent the majority of the game with a one run lead but was able to score two insurance runs in the later innings. Although North Greenville scored a run in the 9th, it would not be enough as the Bulldogs would hang on for the win. With the loss, NGU must win out in order to advance to the College World Series in Cary, North Carolina. Josh Senter hit a home run and led the team with 2 RBIs.
