NGU Drops Two in USC Aiken Tournament

Aiken, SC – North Greenville began the 2021 season with a 3-2 loss to the University of Alabama Montgomery Warhawks and followed up with a 3-0 loss to the Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University Eagles this afternoon in the USC Aiken Invitational Tournament. The Crusaders fell short in the first two sets against the Warhawks but fought back to force a 5th set. However, Alabama Montgomery would ultimately escape with the win. In the second match, NGU was unable to slow down the Eagles, who posted a .392 attack percentage for the match.
