NCU Secures the 79-71 Road Win Over the Cougars Thanks to Strong Play From Simpson and Holtman

Morris, MN — After dropping a one-point game to Wisconsin-Superior, the North Central University (NCU) men's basketball team headed out to Morris to take on the Cougars of Minnesota Morris (UMM) in hopes of getting back into the win column. The NCU backcourt showed out tonight as Ja'Shon Simpson racked up 22 points and 11 rebounds and Tanner Holtman tallied 19 points and 9 rebounds. The Rams would come out on top by a score of 79-71 as they would improve to 4-2 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play.
