NCAA Sweet 16 Preview: Smith vs Wisconsin-Oshkosh

NORTHAMPTON – The Smith College basketball returns to familiar territory in the 2024 NCAA Division III Tournament, as Smith knocked off Maine Maritime Academy and Messiah University to advance to the NCAA Sectional rounds this weekend. The Pioneers (27-3) will take on No. 18 University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in Brunswick in the Sweet 16 round, while No. 8 Bowdoin will host Baldwin Wallace in the other contest Friday evening. Smith has played regular season games at Bowdoin each of the last two seasons and traveled north for the opening round in 2019.
