Mountaineers Fight to Gutsy Come-From-Behind Win in Overtime

STATESBORO, Ga. – Down one after a Eugene Brown free throw with 23 seconds to play, Donovan Gregory took the ball at the top of the key and muscled his way down into the lane for a tough basket to put App State ahead 85-84 with nine seconds to play.
 
On the other end, Georgia Southern's Avantae Parker worked his way into the lane to attempt the potential game-winning shot, but Justin Abson sent the floater flying away to close an 85-84 win for App State in overtime on Saturday.
