Midwestern State mourns the passing of Nelson Haggerty

WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Midwestern State mourns the loss of former men's basketball coach Nelson Haggerty, who died in a single-car accident early Friday morning.
 
"Our Mustangs family is saddened to learn of Nelson's passing," MSU President Suzanne Shipley said. "He will have a special place in the legacy of our men's basketball program and in the lives of those he mentored. Our hearts go out to Nelson's family and his UNT family."
