[Men's Volleyball] No. 10 Tigers Roll over Central State (Ohio)

WILBERFORCE, OHIO – The 10th-ranked Georgetown College men's volleyball team continued its hot start to the 2022 season Friday night, knocking off Central State University, 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-17) in a non-conference match at Beacom-Lewis Gym. Central State (0-6) scored the first four points of the opening set and led 5-1 before the Tigers slowly worked their way back to eventually tie the set at 9. Georgetown took the lead for good in the set when a ball-handling error by the Marauders put the Tigers ahead, 12-11. Georgetown built a four-point lead before Central State rallied and cut the Tigers' advantage to one point on two different occasions, the last time coming at 19-18. However, the Tigers (3-0) were able to keep their cool and close the set with a 6-2 burst to take the opening set, 25-20.
