Men's Hoops Takes Win in American Opener at Temple

University of Houston graduate forward Fabian White Jr. had 15 points and 14 rebounds, and sophomore point guard Jamal Shead scored 14 points to lead the 12th-ranked Cougars past Temple 66-61 on Sunday night inside the Liacouras Center.
