[Men's Basketball] Westlake, Men's Basketball Wins Season Opener 80-76

MERCED, Calif. – Mason Westlake hit the go-ahead jumper with 25 seconds left and led all scorers with 22 points overall to lead the University of California, Merced men's basketball team to an 80-76 win over Vanguard University in the season opener Saturday night on Hostetler Court.
