[Men's Basketball] Warriors outlast RedStorm men

Rio Grande Sports Information    RIO GRANDE, Ohio – Given its lack of depth due to injury and a player defection, the University of Rio Grande men's basketball team can ill afford to find itself in foul trouble – especially when said foul trouble involves one of the RedStorm's top offensive threats.    Unfortunately, that's the scenario that head coach Ryan Arrowood's squad found itself in during Saturday's consolation game in the men's division of the 39th Annual Bevo Francis Invitational Tournament.    Rochester (Mich.) University opened up a seven-point halftime lead and survived a quick Rio scoring spurt at the start of the second half to post a 65-56 victory over the RedStorm at the Newt Oliver Arena.    The Warriors won for the third time in four outings.    Rio Grande slipped to 1-3 on the season, with all three of the setbacks coming on its own floor.
