[Men's Basketball] Tigers win road opener convincingly

Georgetown College men's basketball played its first road game Saturday in the Thomas More Classic. The No. 21 Tigers (4-0) nearly doubled up opponent Kent State Tuscarawas in the first half and then cruised to a 106-80 win in Crestview Hills, Ky.Seven Tigers reached double figures against the USCAA opponent, led by Dante Adams' 19 points. Drew LaMont had 18, while shooting 60 percent from three-point range (6-of-10). Derrin Boyd scored 15. Kyran Jones had 11, while Seth Johnson, Jayrese Williams and Jermaine Patterson tallied 10 each.
