[Men's Basketball] Tigers' defense leads to big second, win over Lions

Georgetown College men's basketball used a 16-2 run to start the second half and never look back in a win over Freed-Hardeman University. The Tigers (13-3, 10-3) were up two at the break, but held the Lions (11-7, 6-6) to just 18 points in the final 20 minutes.Derrin Boyd led the charge as Georgetown tallied the 72-51 win in Davis-Reid Alumni Gym Monday evening. The freshman had 22 points. Kyran Jones had 12 points and 12 rebounds. Chucky Wilson had 11 points and six rebounds, while Jaquay Wales finished with seven points and seven rebounds.
