KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Eric Smith Jr. capped off another excellent all-around effort by scoring the game-winning bucket on a putback in the final seconds of overtime, lifting Avila (6-8, 6-4 KCAC) to a hard-fought marquee 64-63 overtime win over (RV) Kansas Wesleyan (12-2, 7-2 KCAC) on Monday night in Mabee Fieldhouse.
