[Men's Basketball] Sandquist Picks Up Player of the Week Honors

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced this week's basketball players-of-the-week for contests played December 26, 2021-January 2, 2022. Bo Sandquist of Midland University has earned the honor for the second time this season.Sandquist, a senior from Johnston, Iowa, scored a career-high 37 points in Midland's 82-65 win over Mayville State on Wednesday. He tied the school record of nine made three-point field goals in a single game in the contest and had 26 points in the first half. For the week, he averaged 24.5 points while playing virtually every minute of a pair of road wins (79-of-80 possible minutes).
