[Men's Basketball] OLLU men's basketball suffers 90-85 loss to Southwest

HOBBS, N.M. (Feb. 7, 2022) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's basketball team fell to the University of the Southwest (USW) 90-85 on Sunday afternoon. The Saints drop to 7-11 overall and 2-6 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Mustangs jump to 7-10 overall and 2-6 in conference.Assistant Coach Marcus Thompson commented, "We got off to a slow start as a team. We got good energy and minutes from our bench, which played a huge role in why we had our chances to win the game. When you have 26 turnovers and get outrebounded on the road it's difficult to win. We have to be better in all areas for 40 minutes if we want to reach our goals."
