Men's Basketball Improves To 5-1
Clarksville, Ark. – Four players reached double figures in scoring as the Eagles defeated Austin College 89-71 Saturday to improve to 5-1 on the season. The Eagles held a seven-point halftime advantage and then continued to build upon that lead in the second half. A Grayson Nix three-pointer at the midway point of the second half increased the Eagles’ lead to 72-56. From there, the Kangaroos never got back into the game. Nix and Josh Ukpe had 15 points, while Tim Eldridge had 13 and Tylan Jackson added 10 points.
