SALINA, Kan. – It was a thoroughly entertaining game featuring plenty of scoring runs, momentum shifts, energy surges and lead changes for both teams, but Kansas Wesleyan (12-13, 10-11 KCAC) made a couple of critical plays in the game's final two minutes to defeat Avila men's basketball (12-12, 7-11 KCAC) 78-70, ending the Eagles' season in the first round of the 2021 KCAC Men's Basketball Tournament on Monday night.
