[Men's Basketball] Hastings Pulls Away from MBB in Second Half

Doane Men's Basketball struggled to overcome a determined Hastings squad on Wednesday evening as the Broncos defeated the Tigers, 89-65. The loss dropped Doane to 5-14 overall while Hastings moved to 5-12.Anthony Laravie led the Tigers with 17 points while Alec Oberhauser finished with 12 points and seven rebounds, a team-high. Doane was held to 35-percent (25-of-72) shooting from the floor and 21-percent (7-of-34) from behind the arc.Hastings received 26 points apiece from Dashawn Walker and Karson Gansebom. Walker also led the Broncos with eight rebounds as the team held a 49-35 advantage over the Tigers. Hastings shot 51-percent (34-of-67) from the floor and 35-percent (7-of-20) from behind the arc.Doane returns home on January 16 to host Northwestern at 4 PM inside the Haddix Center.
