[Men's Basketball] Cougars Come Up Short in the Sunshine State

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fl. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's basketball team (9-5, 1-3) fell to Florida Memorial College (7-4, 4-1) by a final score of 75-70 on Wednesday.The Cougars battled all night against the Lions. Florida Memorial pushed a lead to as big as 13 before the Cougars cut the lead back down. MVNU shot 42.1% from the field and a very impressive 41.7% from behind the arc. The Cougars passed the ball well and minimized turnovers for the most part throughout the game but fell by five to the athletic Lions.
