[Men's Basketball] Bulldogs Earn The Win In OT

The Jarvis Christian College Men's Basketball Team earned the overtime win against Southwest 87-86.  The Bulldogs had a comfortable lead through halftime with a score of 49-38; however, Jarvis let Southwest creep back into the game late in the 4th quarter.  It would take overtime to defeat the Mustangs, bringing Jarvis to (4-4) in Red River Conference play.  Eric Stewart led the charge with 25 points, going 7-9 (75%) from beyond the arc.  DeAndre Newton provided 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.  The win puts Jarvis in the #6 spot in Red River Conference play.  The Bulldogs will be back in action on Saturday as they play host to OLLU.  Tip-Off is scheduled for 7:30pm at the Rand Center.
