[Men's Basketball] Avila Surges in Second Half but Can't Complete Comeback against McPherson

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Trailing by more than 20 late in the second half, Avila men's basketball ripped off a double-digit run to make the game close, but McPherson (8-5, 6-5 KCAC) buckled down down the stretch to defeat the Eagles (9-5, 4-4 KCAC) 82-68 inside Mabee Fieldhouse in Kansas City on Wednesday night.
