WICHITA, Kan. – Avila trailed by double digits early and looked to potentially be ticketed for another loss to open conference play, but the Eagles (1-4, 1-0 KCAC) never wavered, flipping the script towards the end of the first half and then ultimately cruising to a 76-58 victory over Friends (1-6, 0-1 KCAC) on Wednesday night in Wichita in both teams' 2021 KCAC opener.
