Men's Basketball Announces Taj Benning To Return For Fifth Year

              FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Taj Benning, a guard on the Fairfield University men's basketball team, will return to the program for the 2021-22 season. Benning will play his fifth year with the Stags, gaining the extra year based on the Division I Council's decision to allow an additional season for winter sport student-athletes who competed during the 2020-21 season. The announcement was made by Head Coach Jay Young on Monday.
