MBB: Two Rams Selected for SAC Honors

Two Rams were selected on Wednesday for SAC Honors. Leading the way alL season for the Rams was senior guard Akili Vining. After transferring from the University of West Florida, Vining is in his second season at Texas Wesleyan and was named to the All-SAC Second Team. After his season was cut short with just one game played last year, Vining has turned in a tremendous senior season. He leads the Rams with 507 points and 17.5 points per game, averaging five rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
