Lions Clinch Postseason Spot by Finishing Sweep of New Orleans

HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's basketball team didn't have the best start to Saturday afternoon's game against New Orleans, but the Lions came alive over the last 12 minutes of the first half and cruised to a 77-67 win over the Privateers in the Pride Roofing University Center, officially clinching a spot in the 2024 Jersey Mike's Southland Conference Basketball Championship Tournament presented by Explore Louisiana in the process.
