Kahn Awarded LSC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

DBU Basketball's Cameron Kahn was named the Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. Kahn, a senior guard from Sulphur Springs, Texas, led the 4th-ranked Patriots to a pair of wins over Texas A&M-Kingsville and Texas A&M International after totaling eight steals, nine defensive rebounds, and a blocked shot. Kahn also averaged a team-high 23.5 points on the offensive end and dished out six assists as DBU extended their win streak to eight games. He also recorded the ninth double-double of his career after an 18-point and 11 rebound performance against the Javelinas on Thursday.
