Impressive Comeback Falls Short at Dominguez Hills

CARSON, Calif. — Cal Poly Humboldt faced off against a top of the conference team in Cal State Dominguez Hills on Thursday evening from the Torodome in Southern California. Looking to pick up their first CCAA win and snap the Toro's four game winning streak in an upset on their home floor, an impressive comeback from 20 points down fell short in the end. Dominguez Hills pulled away in the final minute and defeated the Lumberjacks 71-61. Isaac Sowell was just shy of a double-double, as he posted eight points on 80% shooting and grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
