Golden Eagles Back On Top With 101-80 Victory Over Cardinals

CHARLESTON, W.Va—University of Charleston Men's Basketball defeats Wheeling University 101-80 to improve to 15-3 overall and 10-2 in conference play. Junior Dwaine Jones led the Golden Eagles with a season high of 23 points scored, while shooting 10-18 (.556) from the floor with six rebounds, five assists and a steal. With this win, UC shoots to first place in the Mountain East Conference standings, as West Virginia State University downed the No. 17 West Liberty Hilltoppers 98-92 tonight in Institute, West Virginia.
