Gillis Leads AMU to 2-0 Start

PENSACOLA, Fla.- The Ave Maria University men's basketball team rolled to a big first half lead on Tuesday evening, then withstood a second half rally for a 93-82 win over the Eagles of Pensacola Christian College in AMU's first road game of the 2021-22 campaign. The win gave Ave Maria a 2-0 start for the third time in the past four seasons. The victory also extended AMU's winning streak over Pensacola Christian to five games, dating back to the 2018-19 season.
