Geoducks Fall Behind Warriors Despite Strong Start

OLYMPIA, Wash. – In a highly contested event against the Lewis-Clark State College Warriors, the Evergreen State College Men's Basketball team faced a tough challenge resulting in a 90 – 67 loss. Despite the outcome, the Geoducks performed admirably, playing an incredibly close game during the first half, where the Warriors secured a narrow lead with 36 points. The Geoducks closely followed with 34 points. The back-and-forth nature of the competition was a source of energy and anxiety for both players and spectators as both teams vied for control of the scoreboard. The second half saw Lewis-Clark State extend their offensive efforts, posting 54 points, while Evergreen scored 33. The Warriors' offensive efficiency created a gap that proved challenging for the Geoducks to overcome.
