Galvin's Basket Lifts Monarchs Over Wilkes on Senior Day

WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 15, 2020) — Sophomore Patrick Galvin came off of senior Andrew Hudak's screen, stepped back, and hit a jumper from the foul line with 3.4 seconds remaining to lift the King's College Monarchs over cross-town rival Wilkes University, 73-71, on Saturday afternoon in McGrane Gymnasium. Wilkes had an opportunity to send the game to overtime with 2.2 seconds left, but the Colonels could not connect from the free throw line as junior Pat Mitchell secured the rebound for the win in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play.
