Fayetteville State shoots 52.9 percent from deep, loses to UNC-Pembroke 81-77

PEMBROKE, NC –The Fayetteville State men's basketball team shot 52.9 percent from three-point range, but fell to the North Carolina-Pembroke Braves 81-77 on the road Tuesday.

The Broncos (2-4) had five players score in double figures, led by Myles Pierre, who had 21 points. Tyler Foster added 18 points off of the bench and Tairell Fletcher chipped in as well with 12 points.

Led by D'Marco Baucum's three offensive rebounds, Fayetteville State did a great job crashing the offensive glass, pulling down 11 boards that resulted in 10-second chance points.
