Fayetteville State gets 25 bench points in 80-57 victory over Methodist

FAYETTEVILLE, NC –The Fayetteville State men's basketball team got a 25-point performance from the bench on the way to an 80-57 victory against the Methodist Monarchs at home Sunday.

The Broncos (5-5) had two players score in double figures, led by Tairell Fletcher, who had 22 points. Kaleb Coleman tacked on 14 points and seven rebounds and D'Marco Baucum added two points, eight rebounds and three blocks.

Fayetteville State out-rebounded Methodist 45-27 in Sunday's game, paced by Baucum's eight boards. The Broncos also grabbed 15 offensive rebounds and scored 17 second chance points.

Fayetteville State did a great job disrupting Methodist shots in the contest, coming away with seven blocks. Baucum's three rejections led the way individually for the Broncos.
