Dick and Sharon Resch Announce Major Gift to Support Men's Basketball Excellence

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Green Bay Athletics is pleased to announce a recent major gift from Dick and Sharon Resch in support of men's basketball excellence at UW-Green Bay (UWGB). This gift will serve as a challenge match to encourage others to give to the IGNITE Phoenix Men's Basketball Fund through the UWGB Foundation. The IGNITE Phoenix Men's Basketball Fund is focused on providing Phoenix student-athletes and coaches with the resources they need in their pursuit of excellence, with a focus on elevating the profile and status of Phoenix basketball to ensure Green Bay is in a position of strength in today's challenging Division I landscape. The Resch name has long been synonymous with Green Bay Basketball as the Phoenix have called the Resch Center home since its opening in 2002.
