Delaware Beats Hampton to Advance in CAA Championships

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 9, 2024) … No. 6 seed Delaware (19-13) shot a sizzling 63 percent in the first half while limiting No. 11 seed Hampton (9-24) to 15 percent shooting to build a commanding lead and went on to defeat the Pirates, 80-50, in the second round of the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championships in Washington, D.C.
