Defense Carries Men’s Basketball to Opening Night Victory

ROCHESTER, NY – Sophomore Jack Broderick led four players into double-figures scoring with his game-high 22 points but it was a stingy defense that caused 19 turnovers that led to a convincing 91-65 victory for the Nazareth University Men's Basketball team over Buffalo State in the first game of the season and the opening round of the Mike Daley Memorial Tip-Off Tournament Friday night in Kidera Gymnasium.
