Defenders Fall in last seconds of the game

Clarks Summit, PA- The Defenders hosted the Rosemont Ravens on Saturday afternoon. In a very even matchup, the Defenders looked to put another win in their conference win column.  The 2 -13 Ravens looked to upset the Defenders at home, the Defenders looked to add on to their previous game as they beat the Patriots. The Defenders started slow but gained momentum throughout the game. The first half featured 13 lead changes and turned into a very offensive night. At the half the score was 28 – 28. The Ravens and the Defenders were in a dead heat. Both teams giving it their all. The second half continued the scoring spree as both teams kept at each other. With 7:36 left in the game, the Defenders were up 51 -50. The Ravens took the lead late in the game only for the Defenders then to tie it up with a minute to go. The Ravens then hit a free throw with half a second in regulation to win the game 68 – 67.
