Defenders Come Up Short Against Cairn

Clarks Summit, Pa. – One of the more entertaining games of basketball was played between the Defenders (3-22, 2-12) and Highlanders (15-9, 10-3). Neither team had anything to play for considering Cairn University could not move up or down in the playoff rankings, and CSU had already been eliminated. The game came down to the wire with the visitors prevailing 88-84.
