D. Evans Leads Five in Double Figures, Heber Notches 1000th as Men's Basketball Scores Key Win over Post

 Soph guard Darnell Evans (Deer Park, N.Y.) scored 25 points, adding six rebounds, six assists and three steals, and junior backcourt mate Mark Heber (Paterson, N.J.) notched his 1,000 career point as part of a 13-point effort, helping Caldwell men's basketball to an impressive 80-63 triumph over Post in CACC action on Wednesday at the Newman Center. Evans and Heber were two of five Cougars to reach double digits in points in a wire-to-wire win that kept the Cougars' hopes of a CACC playoff berth — and even a home game in the Quarterfinals — alive heading into Saturday's showdown at Bloomfield.
