Crusaders Rally Late In Victory Over Catawba to Stay Alive in Regional Tournament

Tigerville, SC – North Greenville escaped elimination from the Southeast Regional Tournament with a 12-8 win over the Indians of Catawba College this afternoon at Ray & Bea Dillard Field. The Crusaders fell behind by a run in the 7th inning, but would score six runs in the 8th and hang on for the win. With the win, NGU will face the Cougars of Columbus State University in an elimination game tomorrow. Josh Senter led the offense for North Greenville with three hits, two home runs, and four RBIs.
