Crusaders knocked off in WHAC Championship

LIVONIA, Mich. – A storybook matchup was set for the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championship game, between the No. 1 ranked Madonna Crusaders (25-5, 19-3) and the No. 2 ranked Cornerstone Golden Eagles (23-7, 17-5). Currently holding onto a thirteen-game win streak coming into tonight's matchup, the Golden Eagles would stay hot coming into ACCU Arena. Firing on all cylinders from start to finish, they would hand the Crusaders an 88-73 loss and steal their hopes at back-to-back WHAC Tournament trophies.
