Cox shatters career high; Pittman gathers 1000th board in win over D&E

ELKINS, W.Va. – West Virginia State's mens basketball team (17-7, 12-5 MEC) swept the season series against the Davis & Elkins Senators (13-12, 8-9 MEC) on Wednesday when they won by a final of 93-82. State connected on 7-of-12 from long range and 34-of-61 from the field, and held the Senators to just one offensive rebound in the second half.
