Cherif Diarra Named NE10 Defensive Player of the Year; McGettigan & Silvera Named To All-NE10 Teams

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut men's basketball standout Cherif Diarra was named the 2024 Northeast-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, as announced by the NE10 on Tuesday, Mar. 5, 2024. In addition to being recognized as the NE10's top defensive player, Diarra was also named to the All-Defensive Team with teammate Marty Silvera. Josh McGettigan was named to the NE10 Second Team while Silvera was named to the NE10 Third Team.
