Charleston Grinds Out Close 73-71 Victory Over Davis & Elkins

ELKINS, W.Va.—University of Charleston Men's Basketball (13-2, 8-1 MEC) defeats Davis & Elkins College (9-7, 5-4 MEC) 73-71 in Elkins, West Virginia to extend their win streak to seven games. Senior Forward Colbert III led the Golden Eagles to victory, shooting .583 (7-12) from the floor with 18 points scored, nine rebounds and a block. With this win, UC remains tied with West Liberty University in the Mountain East Conference standings with eight conference wins and one loss.
