Bears Claim YES U.S. Virgin Islands Basketball Tournament Championship after, 72-68 Win Over Virginia State

ST. THOMAS, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – Bloomfield College men's basketball captured the YES U.S. Virgin Islands Basketball Classic Tournament Championship on Sunday after defeating Virginia State University (VSU), 72-68. Deavion Ellis was named Tournament MVP after dropping a game-high 25 points in the finals. Ellis averaged 19.7 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game for the tournament.
